A. User Account & Business Profile Data

When you register for an account (Step 1 and Step 2 details), we collect:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, and phone number.
  • Business Profile details: Business name, tax registration number (GSTIN), business domain (e.g. general, ophthalmology), and default billing terms.
  • Sub-user Accounts: Names, emails, roles (Manager/User), and store assignments of sub-users invited under your subscription.

B. Transactional & Billing Content

As part of using the service, we process and store data related to your transactions:

  • Invoices & Items: Customer names, email/phone details, billing address, product catalog listings, tax rates, discount percentages, and final balances.
  • Payments: Payment methods (Cash, Card, UPI, etc.), initial payments, and receipt logs.

C. Device & Authentication Data

We automatically collect operational logs for security and performance purposes:

  • Security Verification logs: SMS OTP requests, email link logs, and roles.
  • System logs: IP addresses, browser types, interaction logs (barcode scans, PDF exports, etc.), and error details.

  • Core Workflows: Generating professional invoices, generating barcode sheets, and calculating multi-store inventory balances.
  • Authentication & Security: Verifying registration details through secure mobile SMS OTPs and email activation tokens.
  • Communications: Delivering invoices, payment links, and receipts directly to your customers via WhatsApp or Email as requested by you.
  • Limits & Monitoring: Tracking subscription plan limits (monthly invoice volume) and auditing administrative changes via system audit logs.
  • Compliance: Providing accounting modules (GSTR-3B, Profit & Loss summaries, outstanding statements) based on your recorded ledger entries.

4. Data Security

We understand the critical nature of your financial, customer, and catalog data. We implement state-of-the-art technical measures:

  • Update Profile: You can edit your store listings, business logo, tax details, and personal registration profile through the profile editing panel.
  • Team Control: Store owners and managers have the authority to create, suspend, block, or delete invited sub-users and cashier profiles immediately.
  • Data Export: You can download comprehensive invoice histories as PDF files or accounting summaries whenever required.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

Invoicer uses standard web cookies and session local storage to provide a seamless user interface:

  • Core Operations: Maintaining your logged-in session, ensuring secure form submissions (CSRF tokens), and retaining preference configurations.
  • Performance: Tracking UI performance and saving local search caching values for barcode verification.
